Betül Oktay is the founder of USEB Academy, a student-centred educational initiative dedicated to accessible and human-focused learning.
Her path in education began with the TÜBİTAK National Biology Olympiads, where she received intensive training and a bronze medal in 2009. She studied Biology at Ege University with first-rank placement, received the TÜBİTAK Scientist Support Scholarship and completed pedagogical formation.
She taught across science high schools, colleges and exam-preparation centres before joining the Turkish Ministry of National Education. During the pandemic she contributed to national distance education through EBA TV, educational content and assessment materials. She is now studying medicine at Semmelweis University while combining her experience as both educator and student.
She founded USEB Academy in 2024, beginning with structured books for medical students and expanding into tutoring and medical entrance-exam preparation.
